How to Post an Event on the Calendar

The Events Calendar lists upcoming ConnYak paddles and other events such as the Annual Rescue Clinic, ConnYak meetings and other club events. These events originate from the club membership at meetings and the club's officers. Any member may also submit an event for the calendar.

Other local events which are sponsored by other organizations which may be of interest to paddlers are also included on the calendar. Generally, strictly commercial events are not posted. Anyone may submit such an event for the calendar.

To submit a paddle provide the following information:

• Date
• Launch Location and Time
• Directions
• Description of the Paddle, the destination, distance, rating, etc.
• Your name and contact information

It isn't necessary to provide generally known information, such as directions to a launch site posted on the website. If you are submitting an event sponosred by others, sometimes just a link to a website is sufficient information.

Please indicate the sponser for the event, either ConnYak, or your name, or an organization.
