: cockpit brings up a couple of possible problems
: 1. The forward half of the cockpit seems to be very wide, which
: would make it difficult to engage the legs for edging and

: The former owner of this boat mentioned that it's not the best
: rolling boat out there. The cockpit design may be part of the
: reason for this.

The cockpit opening can be tailored to whatever shape I want, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. What do you think a good back height should be? This one lists 9" to the top of the coaming. I could take an inch off the sheer all the way around to make it more of a low volume boat.
