I didn't build it but owned one for a short while. To sum it up I would have to say it was a wondeful kayak. It is well behaved in conditions and tracks fine without a skeg. It wasn't my best rolling boat but I could perform most basic rolls with no problem. You will find it fast and fairly agile. The nice thing is that you can reduce the volume and drop the sheer line if desired. This will not affect the performance. The only reason I sold mine was to fund another purchase. Sometimes I wish I still had it. ;-)
