Re: New Paddle
In Response To: Re: New Paddle ()

Chris, congrats on your excellent choice of paddle. I've been paddling with a 210 cm Ikelos for 4 seasons and love it. Provides a lot of power when you need it and is super smooth moving through the water. Rolling is easy and you can roll with either side of the blade since the back is flat. The flotation in the foam core makes doing Greenland tricks like a balance brace a piece of cake. I was out in the winds last night and as Doug said be careful to hang on to it since it is so light. Enjoy your new Euro stick! Ron

: Yup, that it did.
: For what it cost, when the wind caught it, I sure wasn't about to
: let go of it! :-)
: Deceiving at first when you're used to a heavier paddle.
: You do realize, a trip report of it's performance will be expected
: on this BBS within 48 hours of it's maiden voyage.
: DougD - out.
