: For the geographically challenged -- what are the differences between the 2
: Sunday paddles -- from Isham Street and from Esker Point both to Mystic --
: distance, difficulty, scenery, etc.?
The distance on the Stonington paddle will be between 11 and 14 miles, depending on how far up the Mystic River we go. David's paddle looks to be between 7 and 9 miles, but I can't speak for him on that. The scenery will be about the same on both (And exactly the same once we get into the river), and we'll likely all meet up at Isham St for lunch, and paddle around the seaport.
The Esker paddle will likely be a little easier, but only a little -- we have an offshore breeze predicted, so neither will be hard because both are along shore. You won't miss anything on either paddle.
