Re: P&H Sirius
In Response To: P&H Sirius ()

: Reaching out to any member who has personal information regarding
: Sirius. I am a intermediate paddler who is looking to upgrade to
: a longer, faster boat. I have herd that is may be a low volume
: boat, best suited for smaller person. I am 6'1" and weigh
: 200 lbs. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure how the Sirius got such a bad rep, the deep v hull can make the initial stability seem a little weak compared to the fuller chines on later boats, but it's a good rough water boat, not as heavy as the cetus and certainly has no lower hull speed than a Romany.
The build quality should make a good used one worth at least $1000, but if I sold mine, the bad press would make it $500.
Worth noting: they were built in three sizes for a reason. At your weight you would need at least a medium probably a large depending on how you use it as Erik mentioned.
You're welcome to try my M but I think you need a L.
