Thanks for posting this link Olli! The article was fascinating. I remember doing a Super Moon Paddle out of Stonington quite a few year ago. Paddled to Watch Hill, the horseshoe crabs were everywhere along the shore. We left Watch Hill and headed over to Sandy Point where there were hundreds of Horseshoe crabs on the beach and in the water. The seagulls were everywhere too, taking advantage of the easy food available to them. That was such a magical night.
