ConnYak is a non-profit club that
is open to all paddlers
interested in sea kayaking from any location. |
The Mission of Our Club... |
...to encourage and support recreational paddling opportunities within and outside Connecticut as well as to network members, trips, launch sites, education and safety. ConnYak has day trips and overnighters both inland and open ocean. Our trips vary from beginner to advanced. ConnYak also schedules various guest speakers at its meetings as well as networks instruction and pool availability. Our prime goal is to have fun. All paddlers are encouraged to take lessons and can join us on our trips with the full understanding that each paddler is responsible for their own safety. |

Connyak does not provide instruction or training nor do we provide any certifications for paddlers. Individual members may at times assist you with self-learning. Connyak encourages you to seek professional instruction if you need or want any form of certification. |
